From Dubai Chocolate Matcha to a cotton candy-inspired Frappuccino, here’s how to order some of the most buzzed-about Starbucks drinks of the year, based on customer and partner customizations.

In 2025, some of Starbucks most viral drinks weren’t on the official menu – but created by customers and partners (employees) who shared them on social media and watched their popularity soar. From the Dubai Chocolate-inspired Matcha to the Delta Air Lines-inspired Cookie Butter Latte, here’s a rundown of the nine most viral customized drinks shared on social media platforms and on the Starbucks secret menu on the Starbucks app. 

“Starbucks has always been on the forefront of beverage trends,” said Dana Pellicano, senior vice president global product experience at Starbucks. “From the first secret menu drinks to today’s viral sensations, we love celebrating the imagination and joy our customers and partners bring to every cup.” 

Here are the most buzzed-about Starbucks drinks of 2025 and how to order them: 

1. Dubai Chocolate-inspired Matcha Latte 

Season: Winter

Winter’s Dubai Chocolate-inspired Matcha Latte was the buzziest beverage of 2025, inspired by the Middle Eastern candy known for its layers of rich milk chocolate and pistachio cream. Sound good? Starbucks is adding two official Dubai Chocolate beverages to the winter menu starting Jan. 6, 2026: Iced Dubai Chocolate-inspired Matcha and Iced Dubai Chocolate-inspired Mocha.

2. Strawberry Matcha  

Season: Year-Round 

A vibrant fusion of green matcha and sweet strawberry may have trended on social platforms over the summer, but it can be enjoyed all year long by adding strawberry puree, heavy cream, vanilla bean powder and matcha cream cold foam.

3. Pink Drink with Pearls  

Season: Summer 

Pink Drink got a playful pop of texture thanks to the addition of raspberry pearls (borrowed from Summer-Berry Refreshers) and smooth Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam for a summer sip that was pure fun.

4. Cotton Candy-inspired Frappuccino  

Season: Summer 

When Starbucks brought back longtime favorite Raspberry for a limited time in July, it inspired a nostalgic new summery beverage that tasted just like cotton candy.

Starbucks year-round favorite Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso got a luxurious glow-up with the addition of white chocolate mocha sauce and vanilla sweet cream cold foam and caramel drizzle.

Inspired by that in-flight Delta Air Lines cookie we all know, the Delta-inspired Cookie Drink has a warm, spicy sweetness that makes it a comforting companion to any holiday adventure.
