New Sun-Dried Ethiopia Oromia West Arsi: This coffee stands as a testament to Ethiopia’s legacy as the birthplace of coffee. Smallholder farmers hand-sort ripe coffee cherries and sun-dry them on raised beds for at least 21 days. The distinct fruity and sweet flavors captured through this meticulous process encapsulate the essence of Ethiopia’s coffee tradition and innovation.
New México Tenejapa San Cristóbal: San Cristóbal de las Casas has rich soil and a variable climate, ideal growing conditions for coffee. Inspired by the vibrant culture of southern Mexico, this coffee contains bright and zesty citrus aromas with notes of candied kumquat, complemented by toasted almond and cocoa nibs, with a syrupy sweetness.
New Nicaragua Maracaturra Tres Procesos: The Maracaturra beans featured in this coffee, notable for their monumental size, come from a delicate and sought-after plant. These beans undergo one of three processing methods—washed, honey process, and sun-dried. The diverse results are then blended, giving rise to the name Tres Procesos and delivering layered notes of citrus, rhubarb marmalade and sweet Bing cherry.
New Sun-Dried Guatemala Antigua Finca Medina: This coffee from Guatemala is grown in the Antigua valley, bordered by three active volcanoes. Cultivated in a region renowned for producing well-balanced, rich, and sweet flavors, this coffee offers decadent notes of vanilla, dried fig, and dark chocolate, complemented by cedar accents.
The Art of Brewing Merchandise
This winter, Starbucks Reserve will highlight the diverse and unique ways to brew the perfect cup, with brewing equipment available for purchase in Starbucks Reserve Roasteries and stores.

Chemex®: Invented in 1941, this brewing method is known for delivering the cleanest cup of coffee. The Chemex® uses a special paper filter that removes oils and grounds, resulting in a pure, smooth flavor that highlights the coffee’s unique characteristics.
ESPRO® Coffee Press: This full immersion brewing method employs a double mesh filter to separate the coffee grounds from the finished brew, resulting in a smooth, bold and intense flavor.
