Starbucks today reported financial results for its 13-week fiscal first quarter ended December 31, 2023.

“We are excited to welcome Daniel, Neal and Mike as new independent directors to the Starbucks board,” said Starbucks Chair Mellody Hobson.

The strategy focuses on skilling local partners for jobs, opening new stores that serve customers with an elevated experience, and promoting Indian-origin coffee.

Customers will now be able to use their own clean, personal cup at stores in the U.S. and Canada – including drive-thru, the Starbucks app, and in café.

Starbucks announced its Board of Directors intends to establish a new Environmental, Partner and Community Impact (EPCI) Board Committee, as a continued evolution of the overall governance approach to the company.
