Q3 FY26 Earnings Video Transcript
Brian Niccol, chairman and ceo
Hello everyone,
I’m delighted to share that Q3 was another strong quarter for Starbucks.
We delivered our fourth consecutive quarter of positive global comp growth, our second consecutive quarter of margin expansion, and strong earnings growth. We also raised our outlook for the year.
This was the quarter our momentum became truly measurable.
Our Back to Starbucks plan was built on the simple belief that an exceptional cup of coffee… human connection… and a great customer experience win the day, every day.
Q3 proved they do.
It comes to life with the aroma of fresh coffee. The craft in every handcrafted beverage. The connection between a barista and a customer. The smile after a that first sip. And the feeling of belonging that makes Starbucks part of someone’s day. Every detail matters.
This is the third place. It’s a need only we can fulfill. And a community only Starbucks can create. That’s why we’re reclaiming it, one customer, one cup, one coffeehouse at a time.
Over the past year, we’ve invested in our coffeehouses and in our partners. And we’ve worked to make every visit more welcoming, more personal, and more distinctly Starbucks.
Green Apron Service has given our partners the time and tools to deliver a more consistent experience. And Smart Queue is helping us serve our customers with more speed.
Our brand is becoming more visible… more relevant… and more loved. An exciting menu…culture-forward marketing…and our new Starbucks Rewards program are driving new rituals. And Uplifts are turning our coffeehouses into places people relax, gather and stay.
Simply put, customers feel the difference. They’re visiting more often. They’re engaging with our brand in new ways. They’re finding more value in the Starbucks experience. And it’s showing up in our results.
We’re proud of the progress we’ve made. But we’re even more excited about what’s ahead.
We’ll keep working to become the world’s greatest customer service company. We’ll keep investing in our partners. And we’ll keep building a Starbucks that’s true to who we are, and built to perform for the long term.
To our partners around the world, thank you. Your craft, care, and commitment bring the Starbucks experience to life every day.
To our customers, thank you for making us part of your daily routine.
And to our shareholders, thank you for your confidence and your continued support.
We have momentum. We have a clear plan. And we’re confident in the opportunity ahead. Because our business performs when we execute our Back to Starbucks plan.
Thank you.
