“Consumers are looking for wellness solutions that fit seamlessly into their morning routines,” said Brian Smith, senior director, Brand Marketing, North American Coffee Partnership. “Starbucks Coffee & Protein delivers both great taste and nutrients, offering 22 grams of complete protein and 5 grams of prebiotic fiber in a convenient, ready-to-drink bottle that supports busy lifestyles.”

Developed through the North American Coffee Partnership (NACP), the longstanding joint venture between Starbucks and PepsiCo, the new RTD Starbucks Coffee & Protein combines the quality Starbucks coffee customers know and love with the protein they want and added nutrition they’re seeking, making it easy to level up their morning routine.

Leveling Up the Morning Routine

There is a growing demand for drinks that do more, and protein is a top dietary priority for American consumers, with 80% of Americans prioritizing the nutrient in their diet daily.* However, with 54% of consumers overall also seeking foods and beverages high in fiber,** many are looking beyond a single nutrient and taking a more holistic approach to digestive wellness. Starbucks is elevating the traditional morning coffee routine with RTD Starbucks Coffee & Protein.

Last fall, Starbucks coffeehouses introduced Protein Lattes and Protein Cold Foams to the permanent menu across the U.S. and Canada. RTD Starbucks Coffee & Protein expands the coffeehouse’s mission to innovate and deliver modernized beverage options for customers.

In addition to RTD Starbucks Coffee & Protein, Starbucks will be rolling out several new beverages designed to provide more options for those seeking lighter or reduced sugar beverages. These include:

Two bottles of Starbucks chilled espresso beverages are displayed. On the left is a Vanilla Latte, and on the right is a Caramel Macchiato. Both have a light color scheme and feature the Starbucks logo, with labels indicating "No Added Sugar" and "45% Less Calories Than Regular.
