The latte is one of the most iconic espresso drinks, favored for its frothy foam topping. In this refreshing iced version, you can easily create foam with cold milk—no steamer needed. Here’s how.

Fill a tall glass with ice, and pour in the freshly brewed espresso.

Pour the milk and optional sweetener into a mason jar, stopping when the jar is ¾ full.

Seal the jar tightly, and shake, shake, shake.

Pour the milk and foam into the glass with the ice and espresso.

Ingredients
- 1 cup ice
- 4 oz espresso, such as Starbucks® Espresso Roast
- ¾ cup whole milk
- sweetener of choice, such as vanilla or classic syrup (optional)
Directions
Fill a tall glass with ice. Add espresso. Pour milk and sweetener of choice, if desired, into a mason jar. Be sure to stop when the jar is no more than ¾ full to ensure the milk froths. Seal the lid tightly. Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds. Pour milk and foam into the glass. Enjoy.
