Below are some unique, international Frappuccino® blended beverage flavors that reflect the diverse palates of Starbucks customers globally.
Asia Pacific & Japan – Coffee Jelly Frappuccino® blended beverage: Three delicious textures add up to pure pleasure – coffee jelly, made from actual brewed coffee is topped with the creamy Starbucks® Coffee Frappuccino® blended beverage and whipped cream. This unique flavor was a hit in 2008 when it debuted for the summer.
Japan – Coffee & White Tiramisu Frappuccino® blended beverage: Released in summer 2013, the Coffee Tiramisu Frappuccino® blended beverage starts with a Coffee Frappuccino® followed by a layer of crumbly bits of cookie and brownie, topped with cream cheese moose and then dusted with cocoa power. The White Tiramisu Frappuccino® blended beverage features the White Caramel Crème Frappuccino® blended beverage followed by crumbled bits of cookie and white chocolate brownie topped with cream cheese moose and caramel sauce.
China & Asia Pacific – Red Bean Green Tea Frappuccino® blended beverage: This Frappuccino® blended beverage is most striking for the sweetened whole kernels of red beans scooped on top of a Green Tea Frappuccino® blended beverage. This flavor was introduced last year, and returned again in summer 2013.
Japan & Asia Pacific – Hojicha Frappuccino® blended beverage with Earl Grey Jelly: A unique combination and an unexpected blend of east meets west. The toasty and creaminess of Hojicha (a gently roasted Japanese green tea) is well balanced with the addition of refreshing, floral and aromatic Earl Grey tea jelly. The Hojicha Frappuccino® blended beverage with Earl Grey Jelly was introduced in 2012 for a limited time.
UK – Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino® blended beverage: The Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino® blended beverage is a core flavor in the US, but it originated in the UK. Inspired by the classic flavors of an English summer, the Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino® blended beverage in the UK is a little different. Milk is blended with ice and then swirled with strawberry sauce and topped with whipped cream, creating a ribbon of strawberry around the cup. In the US, the strawberries are blended together with the milk and ice.
Greece – Yoghurt Frappuccino® blended beverage: New in summer 2013 and only available in Greece, the Yogurt Frappuccino® blended beverages are handcrafted with Greek yogurt. It is available in three flavors, strawberry, banana and honey.
Peru – Algarrobina Frappuccino® blended beverage: Algarrobina is syrup made from the Black Carob tree and is popular in Peruvian cuisine. First introduced in 2011, Algarrobina sauce is blended with our Frappuccino® roast, chocolate chips, Mocha, milk and ice. It is then topped with whipped cream and swirl of Algarrobina sauce.
Brazil – Brigadeiro Frappuccino® blended beverage: Brigadeiro is a very popular Brazilian chocolate bonbon that is usually served at birthday parties or as dessert. Introduced in 2012, the Brigadeiro Frappuccino® blended beverage is a blend of our Frappuccino® roast, chocolate chips, white mocha sauce, mocha sauce, classic syrup, milk and ice. Served in a cup is lined with Brigadeiro sauce and topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.
Argentina – Dulce de Leche Granizado Frappuccino® blended beverage: Dulce de Leche is a popular ice cream flavor in Argentina. For this beverage Dulce de Leche sauce is blended with Frappuccino® roast, chocolate chips, milk and ice. It is then topped with whipped cream and a spiral of caramel.
United States – Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino® blended beverage: In 2012 caramel was the top Frappuccino® flavor in the U.S. so this summer Starbucks introduced a new Frappuccino® blended beverage inspired by the long-time customer favorite and top-selling in-store flavor. The Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino® blended beverage is a blend of buttery caramel syrup with Frappuccino® roast coffee, milk and ice, then topped with a layer of our new dark caramel sauce, whipped cream, caramel drizzle and crunchy caramel sugar topping.
