Starbucks welcomes customers with new summer-inspired food and drink menu, plus nationwide delivery
New food and beverage offerings await, with options for ordering ahead and delivery available nationwide.
Starbucks has now responsibly reopened over 85 percent our company operated stores across the U.S., and we are expecting more than 90 percent of our stores to be open by early June, under modified operations and hours. We have adapted these protocols for the U.S. and our goal is to exceed the standards outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for a safe experience, including heightened emphasis on cleaning and sanitizing protocols in our stores. Customers will be able to find a store, check store hours, order ahead, and use contactless payment with the Starbucks® App.
As Starbucks stores continue to reopen, we are introducing a new summer-inspired food and drink menu in the U.S. and Canada, inclusive of the Iced Guava Passionfruit Drink, the Grilled Chicken and Hummus Protein Box, the Unicorn Cake Pop and the returning seasonal favorite S’mores Frappuccino® Blended Beverage.
Using the Starbucks App, customers can locate a store, order, and pay ahead for their favorite menu items. In most cases, customers who use the App can pick up their order from a barista at the door (without entering the café), at the drive-thru, or (in cases where social distancing can be accommodated) at a counter in a store. For those new to using the Starbucks App, here are step-by-step instructions for digital ordering.
At select locations where social distancing can be implemented, stores will offer “grab and go,” so customers can place an order in the cafe and then take it to go. Plus, customers can get their favorite Starbucks food and drinks without leaving home with Starbucks® Delivers, offering a convenient way to place an order through Uber Eats. Starbucks Delivers is now available nationwide (in 48 states where both Starbucks and Uber Eats operate).
New Iced Guava Passionfruit Drink
Joining the Iced Coconutmilk Drinks that quickly became fan-favorites after launching in March, the new Iced Guava Passionfruit Drink combines flavors of guava, passionfruit, pineapple and ginger, hand-shaken with coconutmilk and ice for a smooth and creamy beverage to uplift your day. This drink joins the growing number of non-dairy and customizable beverages on the permanent menu.
Returning S’mores Frappuccino Blended Beverage
Back for a limited time, the S’mores Frappuccino layers marshmallow-infused whipped cream, milk chocolate sauce, a creamy blend of vanilla, coffee, milk and ice, even more marshmallow whipped cream and is finished off with a graham cracker crumble.
New Grilled Chicken & Hummus Protein Box
With 22g of protein, the new Grilled Chicken & Hummus Protein Box includes a tender and juicy sous vide grilled chicken breast paired with roasted red pepper hummus and naan bread, baby carrots and snap peas. Now on the permanent menu alongside a variety of protein options.
New Unicorn Cake Pop
Available for a limited time, the Unicorn Cake Pop is a creamy vanilla cake with confetti sprinkles shaped into a unicorn, dipped in a white chocolaty icing, and finished with a magical design.
Starbucks Delivers
Starbucks Delivers is now available nationally in 48 states where both Starbucks and Uber Eats operate. With nearly all core beverages and food and several seasonal items available from the Starbucks menu, customers are able to customize their orders through the Uber Eats app, available on iOS and Android devices. Customers can also add a note for their delivery person to leave their order at the door for contactless delivery.
Summer at Home
Customers can also experience the taste of summer by picking up the NEW Starbucks® Cold Brew Concentrate or Starbucks® Bottled Frappuccino® chilled coffee drink available in Coffee, Mocha, Vanilla, Caramel and more, available online and where you buy groceries nationwide.
