Lori Digulla (she/her) is senior vice president and general manager of Starbucks Canada. Lori has the honour of leading and serving more than 26,000 green apron and support centre partners (employees) who uplift the everyday for millions of customers in more than 1,400 company-operated and licensed stores across Canada. With her focus on strategic growth, operational excellence and her unwavering commitment to values-based leadership, Lori has guided Starbucks Canada into a new era in pursuit of becoming Canada’s most welcoming and loved daily ritual.
Lori joined Starbucks in 2017 to lead Canada’s Supply Chain organization. In this role, Lori implemented broad supply chain strategies across sourcing, planning, commercialization, and logistics to support rapid growth, speed of innovation, and a “frictionless and dynamic” supply chain for stores and customers.
Prior to joining Starbucks, Lori designed and enabled transformational change in large retailers across multiple industries in the United States, Japan and Canada. Lori served as Lowe’s Vice President Supply Chain, where she led the company in its first international expansion and subsequent exponential growth in the Canadian market.
She also enjoyed 10 years with Accenture (Anderson Consulting & Kurt Salmon Associates) designing Supply Chain networks for Fortune 500 companies across retail, grocery, and manufacturing sectors in support rapid growth, international expansion, e-commerce platform launches and mergers and acquisitions.
A lifelong athlete, Lori is passionate about encouraging the next generation of kids to have a healthy lifelong relationship with sports & fitness. In support of this, Lori has served as a board member of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League, coached many youth soccer and hockey teams, and founded a company called Active Kids with the mission to “help the next generation of kids develop the passion to pursue and the mindset to achieve their greatest potential.”
Lori holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. She shares her life in Toronto with her husband and two children, often spending time cheering on her kids in their many endeavors, long walks along the lake with her lab Dexter, or enjoying the many water and mountain sports she loves doing with her family. Beyond her family, coffee is what helps ground Lori and creates moments of connection daily. She starts everyday with coffee at home – specifically Siren’s Blend – brewed in her coffee press and can be found sipping on a warm, Tall Starbucks Blonde Flat White in the afternoon.
