Aaron Koransky is the senior vice president leading Starbucks U.S. Licensed Stores business and Starbucks Roastery and Reserve retail locations. Aaron is responsible for nearly 7,000 licensed retail locations across the company’s strategic business partnerships to bring Starbucks to customers where they work, live and play. He also leads the operations and strategic direction of the Starbucks Roastery and Reserve retail business.
Aaron joined Starbucks in 2003 as a financial analyst and has held leadership positions in Finance, Business Development, Strategy & Innovation, Marketing & Category, Data & Insights, Digital Business Services and Retail Operations. Prior to Starbucks he spent over a decade in the healthcare industry building provider networks and developing new ways to serve the community.
Aaron holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration. He is part of the executive team supporting Starbucks Black Partner Network and loves the opportunity his roles at Starbucks have afforded him to connect with customers, partners (employees), and licensees across the globe. He is based in Seattle with his wife and two sons, and they enjoy travel, involvement in the lacrosse community, volunteering in their community and schools and spending time outdoors. Aaron starts the day with an iced doppio Blonde Espresso with a splash of oatmilk and fondly awaits the arrival of sun-dried Ethiopian coffees every year.
